Introduction
Indian Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons
is proud to announce the launch of a flexible, dynamic,
combined intramedullary and extramedullary, minimally invasive osteosynthesis. Based on MIROS philosophy, we have developed the super effective TPTS clamps at a fraction of its international selling price. These clamps are made with the most advanced VMC and EDM machines used to make space satellite components.
The TPTS clamps
These come in 4 sizes, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm. The numbers represent the wire thickness that snaps into these clamps. While 1.5 mm is used for small bones, fingers, meta carpals etc, 2mm is used for distal radius and around elbow. 2.5mm is used for calcaneum, proximal humerus etc., while 3mm is used for femoral condyles, tibial condyles plafond fractures, etc.
- Clamps are available in 4 sizes, and each unit isone clamp and two wires
- y Clamps are designed and made using very high tech technology. The silicone washer ensures very high wire clamping strength
- Due to the special titanium shim, the clamp has 1600% more pull out strength than JESS, 1400% of unisex, 700% of Ilizarov slotted bolt, and 500% of Ilizarov cannulated bolts!
- y Each fixation unit consists of 2 special 300 mm K-Wires, and one clamp. The wire tip is bevelled for precise control
